Love in Action
Jesus Justice
We follow Jesus’ example by engaging in prophetic, courageous, and self-sacrificial action to bring God’s restorative justice into our community, standing with the poor, marginalized, and oppressed. We demonstrate this value by:
Centering our attention and resources on the poor, marginalized, and oppressed, expressing allegiance to Christ through tangible acts of compassion and service.
Partnering with local justice organizations, nonprofits, and coalitions to learn, serve, and advocate alongside those already working for the good of the vulnerable.
Forming a people whose pursuit of justice flows from prophetic imagination, self-sacrificial love, humility, and trust in God’s kingdom rather than power, coercion, or fear.
Music is part of how we live and express our values. This playlist includes original songs from 1208 Greenwood and our artists, worship music we regularly sing together, and other songs that inspire us around this theme.
